Jordan McCrary is a senior public relations major serving as the President of UF PRSSA. She also is an account executive at The Agency and a Communications Assistant for the Institute for Public Relations. If you are interested in writing or being a graphic designer for IPR, she would be happy to connect you.
This summer, she works as a PR Intern on the Attractions Team at Universal Parks and Resorts. She has previously interned with Axia Public Relations.

Jordan Johnson, Vice President
Jordan Johnson serves as the vice president of UF PRSSA. He is a fifth-year- transfer student majoring in political science and public relations. He is also a communications assistant for the Institute for Public Relations and is vice president of public relations for his fraternity.
As vice president, he directs the recruitment process, coordinates the PRSSA National Conference and the North Florida PRSA Spring Agency Tours in Jacksonville. His career interests encompass international PR, crisis communications and public affairs. This summer he will intern in Dublin, Ireland and Cape Town, South Africa as a public relations intern.

Macayla Bricarell, Treasurer
Macayla Bricarell is a sophomore public relations student from Winter Garden, Florida, and is the treasurer for UF PRSSA. Her position includes managing dues payments, updating the website, sending emails and coordinating fundraisers. She entered UF through PaCE and hopes to help make it easier for PaCE students to get involved here at UF PRSSA. Her background is in photography, previously working for an event photography company, and she currently volunteers as a photographer for the marketing team of one of UF’s student government parties. She hopes to do PR in tourism or entertainment. Her interests include Disney, traveling and spontaneous trips to Orlando.

Carolyn Lok, Vice President of Public Relations
Carolyn Lok is a sophomore public relations major from Jacksonville, FL. As Vice President of Public Relations, she connects UF PRSSA to its members and the wider UF community through branding, social media, blog posts, and more. Her experience includes a media coordinator at The Agency, interning for 352Creates and the Hippodrome Theatre, a Street Team writer for the Institute for Public Relations, and a brand ambassador for Strike Magazine.
She is passionate about design, fashion/beauty, Wes Anderson films, musical theatre, and spontaneous dancing. She aims to work in the entertainment or fashion/beauty industry after she graduates, with the goal of improving equal representation and opportunities in the media.

Leah Antovel, Vice President of Programming
Leah Antovel is UF PRSSA’s Vice President of Programming. She is a junior public relations major and event management minor from Long Island, New York. She has been involved in PRSSA Diplomats, Bateman Ambassadors, Frank Ambassadors and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She is also a volunteer at Pace Center for Girls and an intern at Irving Publications. While interning, she works on blog and social media content for Wellness360 and Giggles magazines. After graduation, she aspires to work in corporate PR.
As Vice President of Programming, her roles include bringing in diverse speakers and facilitating hands-on workshops. She is also responsible for coordinating speaker and meeting logistics.

Andrea Mora, Vice President of Chapter Development
Andrea Mora is a senior public relations major from Coral Springs, FL, who serves as vice president of chapter development of UF PRSSA this year.Her position includes maintaining relationships with other organizations, managing community service projects and ensuring diversity and inclusion. She is also pursuing an urban and regional planning minor and hopes to improve cities and communities through strategic communications and digital marketing. This past summer, Andrea interned at SalterMitchell Marketing for Change, a behavioral change marketing agency in Orlando. Aside from her career goals, she wants to move to a big city, pursue a minimalist lifestyle to survive in a shoebox apartment and own a Shiba Inu dog. Her interests include sending memes, making lists, traveling and drinking Vietnamese iced coffee. Feel free to reach out to her to chat about UF PRSSA or gush about cool architecture.
Brittany Higginbotham, Vice President of Member Services
Brittany Higginbotham is a sophomore public relations major from Ocala, FL, who serves UF PRSSA as the Vice President of Member Services. Her top priority is making UF PRSSA a welcoming community for all students. She runs the UF PRSSA mentorship program, high school outreach initiative, internship and job bank, and plans lots of fun socials!
Her experience with member services expands to her position on the Involvement Team’s Executive Board as Member Engagement Captain. The Involvement Team is a group of student ambassadors for the Student Activities and Involvement Department who help students find their place at UF through Individual Involvement Consultations. Aside from keeping the Involvement Team engaged, Brittany’s main goal is to get to know students and connect them with organizations, events or internships that best suit their involvement goals.
Brittany identifies as an honorary Gilmore girl (#teamJess). Chances are, she’s at a park, hiking, watching a movie, visiting a museum or eating brunch at Luke’s Diner. She’s happiest around people, so consider this an open invitation to hang out!
Hannah Ross, Managing Director of Alpha PRoductions
Hannah Ross is a senior public relations major from New York who serves as the managing director of Alpha PRoductions, UF’s student-run PR firm affiliated with PRSSA. Her responsibilities include recruiting staff members, overseeing account executives and associates, creating brand content and being the liaison between clientele and the firm’s staff. Another task, of course, includes being actively involved in PRSSA as she works closely with the PRSSA president.
This summer, she works as an intern at Lippe Taylor Public Relations in New York. She previously worked as the PR intern for the Hyper IgM Foundation.
Her personal interests include films and books. She can help members with any interest they may have in gaining valuable agency experience while at school. Hannah would love to chat with members over an iced coffee!
Nick Goebel, National Vice President of Chapter development
Nicholas Goebel, 2018-2019 National Vice President of Chapter development, is a senior at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He will graduate in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in public relations and a specialization in forestry.
As a sophomore, Goebel joined UF PRSSA and quickly got involved on a National level. He was chosen as one of the first Regional Ambassadors for the 2017-2018 school year, where he connected Chapters and Presidents to National Committee and PRSSA Headquarters. He hosted the pilot Leadership Summit for PRSSA at the University of Florida, where he brought students from across the Region to collaborate and empower each other. Through working closely with the Regional Ambassadors, he knew he wanted to expand his role within PRSSA.
Goebel will be spending her summer interning at Brightest Young Things, a media company, in Washington, D.C.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching Game of Thrones and spending too much money on books.
