Camila garcia, President
Camila is a senior Public Relations major with a minor in Media Production, Management & Technology and a certificate in International Public Relations. She is originally from Burgos, Spain, but now lives in Miami. Prior to becoming President, Camila served as Vice President her junior year and VP of Chapter Development her sophomore year.
Camila works as a student assistant for UF’s PR Department and is heavily involved in work with Alpha PR, UF’s student-run public relations firm. She was involved in the Innovation News Center as a reporter for Noticias WUFT, UF’s Hispanic news station, and is a College of Journalism and Communications Ambassador. Camila has held internships for rbb Communications and NBCUniversal’s Telemundo 51 station in Miami.
Outside of her involvement with PRSSA, Camila enjoys spending time with her friends, reading, going on runs, traveling to new places and trying new things. One of Camila’s main goals is to collect a postcard from every country in the world. There is (almost) nothing Camila will say no to; so talk to her about anything you want!

izabela gonzalez, Vice President
Izabela is a junior from Miami, Florida, majoring in public relations with certificates in sport management and international communication. She has been a member of PRSSA since her first semester at UF and is looking forward to serving as the Vice President during her senior year.
Outside of her involvement with PRSSA, Izabela is also the President of PRISM (Public Relations in Sport Management) and the Lead Account Manager for Two Bits Creative. You can always find her drinking coffee, having fun on LinkedIn, and taking lots of pride in bleeding orange and blue (GO GATORS!).

emma golub, VP of Chapter Development
Emma is a junior majoring in public relations with a minor in innovation on the artificial intelligence track. She has been actively involved in PRSSA since her first semester at UF, first serving as an ambassador, then as VP of Programming, and now as VP of Chapter Development — a role she is incredibly excited about.
This past summer, Emma had the opportunity to participate in the CJC x NYC PR & Ad Week Immersion Program and intern with Blooming Communications.
In her free time, Emma loves taking long walks around campus, trying new Gainesville eats (always open to recommendations!), and scrolling through social media to keep up with the latest trends.

nairie degregory, VP of Diversity & Inclusion
Nairie is a sophomore from Orlando, Florida, majoring in public relations and gaining a certificate in international relations at the University of Florida. She has been a member of PRSSA since her freshman year and is excited to serve as the VP of Diversity & Inclusion for this year.
In her first semester, Nairie is involved with PRISM (Public Relations in Sports Management) and an account executive at Alpha PR, UF’s student-run PR firm.
When Nairie is not studying for class or running to her extracurriculars, she can be found reading a book, working on her writing or traveling. She loves anything to do with sports, her favorite is soccer, and pop culture.

angelina morffi, VP of Programming

Abigail is a senior public relations student born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Abigail joined the College of Journalism and Communications in her junior year and immediately immersed herself in involvement within PRSSA. From ambassador to now the Vice President of Public Relations, there isn’t a challenge she isn’t willing to accept.
When she’s not serving the next blog post, she works as an account executive for Alpha PR, UF’s student-run public relations firm. She is also a Brand Experience Coordinator for the Agency, a strategic communications firm where students redefine the future of advertising and public relations.
On the rare occasion Abby is outside of the J-school, you’ll find her enjoying coffee at a locally owned coffee shop, scrolling Pinterest for her next thrift find, and listening to some sort of obscene 90s French whimsy rock.

Samantha Mills, VP of Membership & Finance
Samantha is a senior from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, majoring in public relations with a minor in media production, management, and technology, along with a certificate in political communications. She joined PRSSA as a freshman and currently serves as Vice President of Membership and Finance.
She is actively involved in the entertainment and music industry as a 2026–2027 member of CMA EDU, the Country Music Association’s collegiate program. Through CMA EDU, Samantha has connected with industry professionals while exploring the evolving relationship between media, music, and public engagement. This past November, she gained hands-on experience working the CMA Awards red carpet and live show production.
Samantha has also worked as a communications intern for District 95 in the Florida House of Representatives, where she further developed her interest in the intersection of media and government. In addition, she gained experience supporting internal and corporate communications initiatives at AutoNation this past summer.

josie cioffero, Managing Director of Alpha PR
Josie is a senior majoring in public relations from Tampa, Florida. She has been a member of PRSSA since 2023 and an active member of Alpha PR since 2024.
Outside of UF, she has held communications and PR internships with Amazon, Comcast and the Alzheimer’s Association. Her goal is to work in technology or entertainment PR, ideally in a space where she can combine her passions for both!
In her free time, Josie enjoys hiking, reading, scrapbooking and trying new coffee shops. You’ll probably find her taking pictures of all of those activities on her digital camera, too.
